AWS 143rd Annual Travelling Exhibit |

The MAG June Exhibit features the American Watercolor Society
Travelling Exhibit.
MAG is the proud Host of the 2010 exhibit. The show is sponsored by
Tate Realtors, Wal-Mart, The Iredell Arts Council, Cheap Joe’s,
Mi-Connection and The Mooresville Convention and Visitors Center.
Members were invited to attend the opening reception on May 22. It
was estimated that over 150 members attended. Ellen Patterson, Show
Chairperson says, “The AWS Watercolor Exhibit is exciting. Ask the
docents! We've seen a large increase in attendance - many from out
of town. Saturday, May 29th, 65 people came to view the exhibit.”
Sandie Bell also reported that a couple of people heard about the
exhibit and detoured to Mooresville. They spent the night in
Mooresville to view it. Also attending were folks from England.
Next week we will begin to have tours. If you know of any group who
would like to come to the Depot. Call ahead so we can arrange
parking.
