| The Show was judged by Jeff
Pender. He made the following remarks about our show: "I really
enjoyed judging the show. Judging an art show is always subjective
but I felt a few pieces stood out. I was particularly struck by
“Figure Study: Dance” because of its depiction of the beauty and
grotesqueness of ballet in the same image. Also I was moved by the
emotion in “Thirty-nine”, the painting of the woman in the room.
Several of the works in the “other 2-d” area were
exquisite...particularly "Mountain Splendor” and ” Luminous Flux”.
