Mary Setzer studied art and photography at CPCC in Charlotte and has attended classes and workshops with several area artists. Mary began working in pastels in 2005 and found that the immediacy of the medium fascinated her from the start. She continues to find it absolutely absorbing. She has won awards for her paintings and photography, and her work is included in many collections.
